Cooling System

I used the Griffin and Flex-a-lite combo because it was proven to work well, install relatively easily, and cost much less than a custom direct-fit radiator with Spal fans. We tried to modify the original mounting brackets, but ended up just making a C-shaped piece that bolted to the support and wrapped over the top. Rubber weatherstrip from Home Depot (it said "automotive" right on the box!!!) was used to provide some cushion between the radiator and the core support. So far there have been no issues with the cooling system. It kept cool on Woodward while idling in traffic so I'm satisified with the performance. I used HP Tuners to lower the fan turn-on temperature so that it now comes on at 200* and turns off at 195*.
